30/30/20/20 - A Paradigm Shift

Many “experts” say that fitness is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise.

Nope… not true! If the equation is 80/20 we ignore critical reasons why so few people get the results they seek.

My experience tells me the equation is really 30% Psychological, 30% Nutrition, 20% Exercise and 20% Recovery.

We cannot omit the other two crucial components.

The Psychological component pertains to motivational issues and self-sabotage which are huge deterants to transformation for so many people.

The Recovery component addresses the influence of certain hormones which affect tissue repair, energy issues and food cravings among others.

That’s why this method is called 30/30/20/20. Part 1 of the book presents conversations on the Psychological aspect of transformation, Part 2 is on Nutrition, Part 3 on Exercise and Part 4 on Recovery.
