Hi I'm Bumpa!

Okay, let’s get this out of the way. My beautiful grand daughter couldn’t say “grandpa” when she was little, so it’s been “Bumpa” ever since. Believe me, I’ve been called a lot worse. Just yesterday…

I’m a 71 yr old Hope Provider! I provide hope through health and fitness as a Personal Fitness Trainer and Lifestyle Coach in Edmonton, Alberta.

If you want to be the very best you can be but you’ve hit a wall, I’ll help you get unstuck in every area of your life. Then you get to pay it forward and share the ideas with others. Together we can change our planet by helping others feel more accomplishment, joy and fulfillment.

After leaving my psychology studies at university to take a summer job with a world-wide fitness chain, my advancement was meteoric, making me the youngest club manager in the entire organization. It would lead me on a fascinating lifelong adventure into the world of health and fitness that has uncovered what most people have not yet discovered – that it’s really a mental journey, it’s composed of transferable skills, and it must be shared.

The scene was set because since that time I have always had a gym in my home and trained six days per week. I “experiment” regularly with nutrition and different exercise modalities for fun and education – a test drive, so to speak, to see what works and what doesn’t.

In 1975 I took the incredible XOCES personal development seminar with Bob Proctor and my dream was born. My heart told me that I needed to share information with people to help them become all they could be. My thought processes, my belief system, my life, changed dramatically and I embarked on a life long journey to learn as much as I possibly could about human motivation, all the while collecting hundreds of books and tapes, and spending every spare moment in self-discovery.

This led my fitness career path on a “sabbatical” into another “adventure”. I became a Success Coach and VP of Operations for a division of Success Motivation Institute, where I conducted courses and seminars on goal setting, attitude, time management, environment and effective communication.

Upon retiring, I volunteered with various organizations, including over twenty years as a counselor and co-facilitator for men’s groups through the City of Edmonton, and at the YMCA as an Individual Strength and Conditioning coach, which continues to this day.

I know, that together, we can make a difference, we can change our planet for the better!

Let’s go! Get unstuck and change some lives… starting with yours!
